Changes to the bus network

Changes to the city's bus network came into effect on Sunday, 13 December 2020. More information


Buses on lines 5 and 6 will depart from "Bertrange, Gemeng" and travel along Route de Lonwy and Avenue du Dix Septembre to the city centre ("Monterey"). Line 5 will then go via the Gare district ("Al Avenue" and "Wallis"), Bonnevoie and Cloche d'Or before terminating at "P+R Stade de Luxembourg".

Buses on line 6 will then pass through the city centre and then travel to the airport via Kirchberg.

Lines 8, 12 and 13 will serve the same stops in Belair and pass via "Monterey" / "Hamilius". Buses on line 8 will travel via the western part of Limpertsberg (Avenue de la Faïencerie), and those on line 12 will cross the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte to call at stops in Weimershof and Kirchberg. Buses on line 13 will go to Gasperich via "Gare Centrale".

Stops along Route d'Arlon, currently served by line 28, will instead be served by buses on line 11 coming from Steinsel, and by buses on line 16 coming from the airport and Kirchberg. Buses on line 22 will continue to travel along Route d'Arlon and through the city centre, call at "Wallis" and "Gare Rocade" in the Gare district, and then travel to Cloche d'Or before terminating at "P+R Stade de Luxembourg".

Line 24 from "Centre Hospitalier" to "Howald, Peternelchen" will remain unchanged.

Alight at the following stops for the tram

  • 5 and 6: "Hamilius"
  • 8, 11, 12, 16 and 22: "Stäreplaz / Étoile", "Hamilius"
