A more flexible way of getting around
The City of Luxembourg's Call-a-Bus service takes you where you want to go, with complete freedom from set bus stops, timetables and routes.
For the sake of transparency for passengers, the former Rollibus service for persons with reduced mobility has been incorporated into the Call-a-Bus service.
How it works
To use Call-a-Bus, call 4796-4797 at least 45 minutes before you want to be picked up. Specify when and where you want to be picked up and where you're going, bearing in mind that both your point of departure and destination must be within Luxembourg City*. Bookings can be made up to 3 weeks before the required date.
* Under certain conditions, the Call-a-Bus service for PRMs (persons with reduced mobility, requiring a wheelchair to travel) may serve destinations outside Luxembourg City. Please call 4796-4797 for further details.
Since the bus may pick up other passengers along the way, the route taken may not necessarily be the most direct.
Call-a-Bus operates according to the following timetable:
Monday to Saturday
Call-a-Bus for people in wheelchairs
Monday to Sunday
A Call-a-Bus trip costs €6 for the first passenger and €3 for any additional passengers in the same group. To be entitled to this reduced fare, people travelling together must have the same place of departure and destination.
A reduced fair is also accorded to wheelchair users, along with the person accompanying them: €2 per person.
Per person and per trip
For each additional person on the same trip
Per wheelchair user
Per person accompanying a wheelchair user
Transport for wheelchair users
The Call-a-Bus service for PRMs (persons with reduced mobility) is available to anyone who needs a wheelchair to get around, provided they live in Luxembourg City or in a municipality that has an agreement with the City to cover the cost of the service.
The Call-a-Bus service covers the journey from the entrance of the building at the place of departure to the entrance of the building at the destination. Our driver will help passengers to get on and off the bus, and to strap the wheelchair into position.
Wheelchair users may be accompanied by able-bodied passengers.
