Progress to date
What remains to be done?
Since late 2018, work on the sewers and the installation of water and gas mains, dry utility networks and paving have been under way on Avenue de la Liberté between Place de Metz and Place de Paris. This work will be carried out first on the even-numbered side of the street and then on the odd-numbered side. Preparatory work began in May 2019 at the same time on Avenue de la Liberté between Place de Paris and Place de la Gare. Work on the sewers, water and gas mains, dry utility networks and paving will then begin on the even-numbered side of the street. After completing the work on the even-numbered side of the street, the contractor will do the same on the odd-numbered side.
To make life easier for residents while these works are being carried out, the City has implemented a series of measures, including the option to participate in site meetings. Residents affected by the works may participate in these meetings to obtain additional information about the project's progress and present any complaints they may have.
