Support for restaurant and café owners
As part of the easing of public health restrictions, restaurants and cafés are allowed to serve patrons indoors (as of 16 May 2021), provided they can show proof of a negative antigen test. The City of Luxembourg has decided to support restaurant and café owners by assisting them with the logistics involved in managing their patrons' rapid tests, with the aim of facilitating procedures for both patrons and business operators.
As part of its effort to support businesses in the hospitality industry, the City has reserved an envelope for you with 100 free antigen test vouchers for distribution to your patrons. Your patrons can take this voucher to any pharmacy in Luxembourg City and have a free, certified antigen test done on the spot. The certificate issued by the pharmacist will be valid for 24 hours, allowing patrons to visit a café or restaurant during that time.
You can collect the vouchers reserved for your establishment from City Hall on Place Guillaume II, or the "Rocade" administrative building (3, Rue du laboratoire, L-1911 Luxembourg).
Patrons can collect free rapid antigen test vouchers at the reception desk at City Hall or the "Rocade" administrative building (3, Rue du laboratoire, L-1911 Luxembourg).
